Hermitage Bay is located 20 minutes from the Airport on a bluff overlooking the ocean. All 25 free standing cottages offer views of the ocean with the Hillside Suites being the most popular due to the plunge pools, view, and privacy. The resort is on a shelly beach, but water shoes are not required. The resort allows children 12 and older, but it is rare to see kids unless over the holidays. There is one restaurant and the menu changes daily focusing on locally sourced farm to table principles. Hermitage Bay boasts a two to one guest to staff ratio. The resort prides itself on not being formal and considers barefoot elegance as its inspiration. There is a full service spa, organic garden tours, cooking classes, and live lounge music 6 days a week.
The cottages on the beach are 930 square feet and boast fantastic views! The Hillside suites are larger at 1100 square feet, with large wraparound balcony, 100 square feet plunge pool, and outdoor shower. All rooms include room service, but there is a $15 per order delivery charge.
Overall, Hermitage bay is an amazing choice for honeymooners and anniversary guests due to the secluded romantic atmosphere and unique accommodations.
