"Rising majestically above the 600 acre beachfront resort of Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain is a cornucopia of organic architecture celebrating St. Lucia's stunning scenic beauty."
Architect owner Nick Troubetzkoy has expanded upon his philosophy of building in harmony with Caribbean nature and environment in his creation of Jade Mountain.
The bold architectural design with individual bridges leading to the extraordinary infinity pool sanctuaries and columns reaching towards the sky makes Jade Mountain one of the Caribbean's most mesmerizing resort experiences.
Expect grand sweeping spaces with your bedroom, living area and extravagantly sized private infinity edge pool gliding into one another to form an amazing platform floating in space with the fourth wall missing entirely. The result is a stage-like setting from which to embrace the full glory of St. Lucia's Pitons World Heritage Site and the infinite Caribbean Sea, a view you are not likely to ever forget.
Jade Mountain is breathlessly spectacular! There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this unique resort. All 29 sanctuaries (Rooms) have three walls offering magnificent views of the lush Piton Mountains. The minimum room category is the Sky suite at 1400 square feet. This is the only accommodation without an infinity pool (it does have a large Jacuzzi tub). The other Sanctuaries range from 1600-2000+ square feet with enormous pools and a Jacuzzi. There is no air conditioning, televisions, or telephones! This adults only resort caters to those looking for a once in a lifetime experience. The bold architecture and design by owner Nick Troubetzkoy offer unparalleled views and the best service. Jade Mountain has been awarded the AAA 5 Diamond award every year since 2011.
As fabulous as the rooms are, the service and food match the experience. There is one restaurant which serves the freshest fish and produce grown at the owner’s local farm (Emerald). Room service is also offered. I highly recommend the all-inclusive plan as guests rarely leave the resort and it is a good value. The service is friendly and efficient, but not “fast”. All guests receive a cell phone to contact their butler. Jade Mountain has a private beach with cabanas with flags for food and beverage service. The beach is accessible by a 2 minute shuttle or a 7 minute walk.
There is a two cabin spa and in room massages are very popular. Helicopter service is available from either St. Lucia Airport for $245 per person one way. The road from Soufriere up the mountain to Jade is certainly the worst part of the Jade Mountain experience. Other than the 15 minute drive up, there no flaws to this incredible resort!
