The Riu Palace Aruba, formerly known as the Riu Aruba Grand, will bring Riu's legendary service, all-inclusive concept and highest level of amenities to Aruba for the first time. Located on famed Palm Beach, this dazzling property will include 450 hotel rooms split up into Junior Suites Partial Oceanview, Junior Suites Oceanview, Suites Oceanview and Jacuzzi Suites Oceanview. On site, guests will be able to enjoy top-quality facilities and activities such as two swimming pools, each with an integrated Jacuzzi, a signature terrace-solarium, a fitness center, a spa and a casino. In addition, five distinctive gourmet restaurants, numerous bars and limitless entertainment options will provide a wide array of tastes, temptations and diversions. A true Riu Palace in every way, the new Riu Palace Aruba will be a luxurious, elegant and beautiful place to experience the gracious hospitality that defines this exquisite island destination.
The Riu Palace Aruba is located along with the other high rise hotels along the 4 miles of Palm Beach. The resort is one of two all-inclusive resorts and considered the nicer of the two (the other is the Occidental). All 450 rooms offer at least a partial ocean view, room service, and fully stocked minibar. The beach is gorgeous and the active pool area is packed with guests enjoying the music and activities staff. There are five a la carte restaurants that require reservations (typical Riu reservation policy of same day at breakfast buffet). The bars serve top shelf liquor which is a benefit compared to the well liquor at the Occidental.
Overall, the Riu is very nice if you want all inclusive and Aruba. The beds are a little firm for my taste and the room décor is bad!
